An Interesting Experience in Desert!!!

General welcome and staff cooperation are good. The cultural programs were of average level, maybe because of the lesser number of guests. Great view of the sunrise from the property is a plus. Food quality and variety are basic, though the staff were supportive of special requests. Camel ride included in the package was a new experience but felt sorry for the overworked and exhausted animals.

We went on a sunset camel safari, followed by traditional folk music and dance around the fire, under the beautiful night sky, that finished off with a delicious meal! This was an experience of a lifetime that we will NEVER forget! We had the best time! The camels are treated very well and were relatively easy to ride, once we got the hang of it (the getting up and down part was a little intimidating, but the trick is to hold on tight and lean back!).

The location and weather was good and the ambience was memorable . The Jeep ride and the camel safari in desert was fun and it worth every penny we spend . I would recommend december as the best time to go for desert camping . the only concern is the hygiene is not as expected sometimes.

Probably an experience no one should be subjected to. We booked and pre paid for 5 tents for 12 people for 26th March -27th March and reached the hotel on the scheduled date. Surprisingly, hotel had wrapped up the tents and closed for the season inspite of accepting paid booking and didn’t even bother to inform. Instead they had the audacity to tell that they had no bookings inspite of showing them proof of booking and made no alternate arrangements. We were stranded on the road with no where to go in the middle of the night, in a desert area and had to scramble and plead with our taxi driver to take whatever amount and just take us to an alternate hotel / desert camp as we had kids and infant with us.

We have been there for 1 night 2 days (4,5 DEC,2021) . Food was excellent, service,cleanliness would rate 5*. Staff is helpful. I will definitely recommend this place. Camel ride dinner, BF, cultural program were included in the room rent. Jeep safari they charge Rs 1500/-. In thar desert camel ride was charged 300/- for 2 camels. Tourists were very less due to corona.
